Good News from the Lab: Tanya Bandula-Irwin Awarded the Women in Defense and Security Scholarship

We are proud to announce that Tanya Bandula-Irwin, a graduate PostCor Lab researcher, has been awarded the WiDS Foundation's Women in Defense and Security Scholarship for her outstanding work in the fields of International Relations and Comparative Politics.

Every year, the WiDS Foundation awards this prestigious scholarship to women who have made significant contributions to Canada’s defense and security and have demonstrated promise as future leaders in this field. Tanya's research provides real and consequential insights into armed group behaviours that the Canadian Armed Forces and their allies can use to meet their goals when operating in the context of insurgent forces, especially in light of the changing nature of warfare where non-state armed actors are rising both in number and in strength globally.

Congratulations, Tanya!
